LIONS MAKE FULL USE OF RHINO PRODUCTS

The British & Irish Lions touring party in South Africa have been making full use of the scrummaging machines, contact and training equipment supplied by Rhino under our Official Supplier agreement. Rhino has had equipment in place at each training venue and we take great pleasure in the success of the tour to date.

RHINO DONATES KIT AT LIONS OUTREACH EVENT

Rhino recently teamed up with the British & Irish Lions and fellow sponsors HSBC and First Cape Wines to donate kit to Simondium Primary School in the Cape winelands at one of the Lions community outreach events on the current tour. HSBC have been running a series of coaching events in the UK and South Africa during the tour and one of the Lions tour legacies is a new rugby pitch and kit and equipment for the primary school which is close to First Cape’s head office. The opening of the new facility performed by Lions Tour Manager Gerald Davies was combined with a HSBC coaching event attended by captain Paul O’Connell and many of his players. Simondium Primary School headmaster William Keet said: “This legacy of the British & Irish Lions to our school is a dream come true for us – we are extremely grateful to them, First Cape, HSBC and Rhino Rugby for their contributions to this”.
